BNT Chemicals was founded in 1998. The target was to erect a new facility to produce a wide range of alkylchlorides and tin-based chemicals in the Chemical-Park of Bitterfeld-Wolfen (see: How to find BNT). The investment started in the end of 1999 and has been completed over the last years.
BNT Chemicals went in operation with its first products in the end of 2000 and has been started up stepwise in the meantime all other planned production lines. The production of BNT Chemicals is based on the modernest aspects of technology and is guided by a process leading systems.
One of the strengths of BNT Chemicals is the wide range of application fields of its products. For example our products are applicated in the glass industry for surface coating, in the production of PVC-tinstabilizers, as intermediates in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, as catalyst for processing silicon sealents, polyurethane-foams and rubber systems, as important ingredient in electrodeposition paints and in the galvanic industry.
To complete our programme BNT Chemicals provides its customers with technical service in handling our products as well as the by-products formed during application.
Today BNT Chemicals is present with its products in more than 35 countries all over the world. For supporting marketing activities BNT Chemicals cooperates world-wide with a large number of agents and is constantly looking for additional partners in the different application fields.
In the end of 2000 a partnership with the Reagens-group was started. The Reagens-group is one of the most important producers of plastic additives world-wide with main seat near Bologna/Italy.
